Hilltop Featured in the Detroit News, ranked #2 for “Sweetest Stops” in Michigan

On July 3rd, 2008, reporter Susan R. Pollack treated readers to the top 20 Michigan stops for sweet treats.  L’Anse (Upper Peninsula): “In Baraga County, we are famous for our huge cinnamon rolls made daily by the folks at the Hilltop Restaurant in Lanse” boasts Tracey E. Barrett of the Baraga County Convention & Visitors Bureau.  “Just yesterday, there were two people  in her looking for the huge cinnamon roll because they had friends that were here 10 years ago and always told them “if you ever come to L’Anse you have to stop and get a cinnamon roll.”
